A mobile phone contract is a way of paying for your mobile phone calls, texts and other services. You agree to pay a fixed monthly amount to cover your phone services for a set period of time.
A mobile phone contract will last for at least 12 months, but phone companies aren’t allowed to offer contracts that last longer than 24 months.0 -
So you did agree to it then? As in your first post you make it sound like it is some kind of error on their part.
I agreed to it by continuing to use the service and not cancelling it after the cooling off period that they offer.
So yes, I agreed to the contract, but on the other hand they appear to have given me a contract which is illegal. AIUI (and IANAL ;-) this would make the contract void.0 -
phone them up doesnt sound rightWhat goes around-comes around0

First post 5 days ago and the OP still hasn't called VF and got it sorted??...0

2 year contract begun Oct-12 then renewed in Oct-14 perhaps?0

I'm wondering if what happened back in October 2012 was that the OP was contacted by one of the third party Vodafone partners and upgraded through them.
There have been a few posts on here from people who thought they were getting a good deal but had actually been transferred to a business contract.
In that case, there are business contracts that (if you don't cancel within a specific time period) will renew your contract automatically for a new minimum term.0 -
I'd bet this is one of Vodafone's premium partners offering a business contract via an unsolicited phone call.0
