Yes, Dad had a very good solicitor and everything is being well taken care of.
I think next weekend will be spent aimlessly wondering round the house but that's ok and therapeutic. It makes me realise I am so far away. My sister has a great support network of friends willing to help as and when needed.

Not a bad thing to do it on your own. It took me ages to deal with Dads house in France I avoided it for so long! But when I did, it was actually very calming and helped a lot. All the raw emotions were gone by then and it was just about memories.....mostly happy ones because he had been so happy there.

I think there's something very nice in you dealing with things after him passing as you did when he was here. He'd like it that you are strong enough to do it your way there's a lot to be said for 'having people around'. There's more to be said for someone who can do it on their own, in their own way and know that they didn't have any one else to please :A that's my experience anyway. Just do him the justice of coping the way he was used to seeing you coping :A
