you give me credit for a lot more things than I am capable of doing on here! The software, the database, the servers, the inner workings of MSE are absolutely nothing to do with me.

Took the kids to say their temporary goodbye to their Dad today :(

The sadness soon turned to hilarity for the kids and a very red face for me :o

We decided to go to Wetherspoons for dinner. Me, the 4 kids and my OH best friend who is staying. All very nice until a member of staff came to the table and asked if everything was ok....as they do....

Ds2 got engaged in a conversation with her about the food and the menu and such. At the end of it she said she was glad he was enjoying the food and commented on how much he looked like his Dad :o  (OHs friend )......He doesn't, honest :p :rotfl:

DS2 said to her 'how do you know my Dad?' She got a bit flustered and said 'Oh is that not your Dad' :o He stood up and his volume button went up :o:o:o and said to her 'No he's not my Dad, he's Karl. I have none of his genes in me so I can't look like him' :o:o At this point I just want a hole in the floor that is big enough for me and her to fit in. Because I Must have been the colour of a beetroot and she was rooted to the spot. The other kids thought it was hilarious. Karl was just sat there with a blank look on his face.
He then said to her 'you think my mum has had an affair with Karl' :o:o
She was apologising profusely and backing away then when DS2 (still stood up in rant mode, with the whole place looking at us :o) said 'I actually look like my Grandpa and he wasn't related to Karl either'

my face stopped burning about half an hour ago.

Does anyone have Jeremy Kyles number? :D :rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: this really made me smile. You tell your tales so well. I could really picture the scene.

It reminds me of my friend. Her husband took their son to the park. He went down the slide with their son on his lap. He bent his legs to stop and in doing so broke both of their sons legs!!!
When people asked what had happened, he would say very loudly that "daddy did it!" After weeks of shocked faces my friend explained it wasn't a good idea to say such things.

This resulted in when he was then asked what had happened he now said very loudly "daddy did it, shhh don't tell anyone" :rotfl::rotfl: my friends face was permantly red!
