I've walked down that road, at a time when a very few of them might have been alive. But they'd not be now.

DS and I were discussing which came first: the light bulb, or the light switch. It's like what did they call barn owls before they invented barns?

I was offered a free months holiday there a while back, but it was my first year in the job that we do, so obviously I could not accept, always feel like I have missed out.

There's a chemist shop in a town in Germany where Mrs Benz had driven to back in 1888 and had to stop and buy fuel for her car to drive it back to her house. It calls itself the first petrol station because of that.:p
