Yes, apart form the 'normal' stuff, yesterday DD text me to say that she/OH/3DGC were woken just after 4am by fire crews at the hotel that they are staying in New York and evacuated as water pouring in. It's so cold that even the lifts froze. They were on the 18th floor. Worried all day :o until late last night got a message that they were all ok and had been decanted to the Hilton by Ground Zero.

Today, DS went to Sainsburys and come out to find that his car was smashed up all down one side. Luckily for him, the girl (learner) who had crashed into his car, was waiting for him to give him her insurance details etc.

Due to his hearing impairment, more for me to sort out.

Did you mention, it doesn't rain it pours :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope it's not pouring where you are. ;)
