As for swimming, I love swimming but not in chlorinated water. I prefer to swim in the sea or pools on holiday when they don't go so heavy on the chlorine. My best memory is swimming in Xcaret in Mexico, swimming along and watching a stingray suddenly emerge from underneath me :eek:

Go to your favourite beach and just go for it. At this time of year it's woolacombe for me. Not been able to get there this year, but they have some lovely secluded parts.

I try to get in the beach at least a few days a week. Difficult at the mo, but I try. I'd never dream of going in the sea :eek: my dog shakes when he hits the beach. The 'spaniel shake' he takes a big breath at the cold and does this shaking thing before he finally decides he can brave it
There is something nice about that coldness on a beach that takes your breath from you

I haven't got any massively good news. My OH is still very poorly. There have been a couple of very hairy moments over the last week. It looks like physically he will recover, much to his disappointment but I thought that before the hairy moments so it's a day at a time just now. The silly !!!!!! has done a lot of damage to himself.

I've not been avoiding posting. I just don't have a lot to say you know me.....don't want to be all doom and gloom and am wary of having a laugh in such grim times

I have put my practical side to use arranging an amazing (and expensive :eek:) treatment programme in place for him WHEN He is fit to be moved. It's make or break for my whole family this time because we are all on our a rses! My kids have been amazing considering what they are dealing with and we really all have helped each other.

I am also going back to work on Monday because I refuse to give up my whole life all over again. I care....so much, I will do whatever it takes to get him back to a good place. But I won't give up my whole life all over again to end up back at square one.

So I am fine and thank you for thinking of me :A

And thank you to those who have supported (and tormented ) me behind the scenes. It is very much appreciated
