How do you know about silver foil and hair dye?:eek:

On that note, I'm off to bed. Another 5.30 start.
  • I've had 12 quidco retailers now track for the Quidco Bonus and surprise surprise the bonus is yet to make an appearance.
I contacted them and they have said each one has to be verified to ensure all the t&c's have been met and then it will be authorised for payment. They said should be available by the end of Feb.

How about her mother is a crack [STRIKE]wh[/STRIKE] addict who sold her as a child for a fix, only for the poor child to search every weekend and one day find her mother face down in the gutter clutching some silver foil and a box of hair dye. Which set her on her way to this career :p

If you reckon a change of tactics would work I will give it a go. And what do I need silver foil for? :o

Seriously though thanks to everyone so far, she is in a respectable position, long way from the leaders but holding mid field. :T

    That was always the case

I have 11 confirmed and paid, 1 successful claim and 3 tracked (one of the tracked claims should fail though because the retailer cancelled the order)

Just waiting for any one of these to go confirmed now

I forgot I had submitted a Starbucks claim but it was refused
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen

    Morning all :)

Also routing around in the fruit draw in the freezer I found my secret stash of frozen flakes so they are going to haunt me now I know they are there :rotfl:

I hate it when the delicious, naughty things haunt you! I need an exorcist!!
Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!

They want £55 per halogen light (snazzy lights in the kitchen ceiling) and we'd need 17 of them
I'll cope with candles if I have to :D

    :)

If you have LED's instead of Halogen they use a lot less electricity-saving about per year plus they last longer than Halogen 10-20 times longer and have a brighter light!

    HTH

Light bulb Type 5W LED Spot 50 Watt Halogen
Light bulb projected Lifespan (Hrs) 25,000 2,000
    Cost per bulb £9.99 £1.50
kWh of electricity used over 40,000 hours 125 1,250
    Cost of electricity (@ £0.15 / kWh) £18.75 £187.50
Bulbs needed to last 40,000 hours 1 12
    Bulb expense £9.99 £18.00
Total cost for buying and running the bulb £28.74 £205.50

    Tried that one.

    It failed.
