Quite right - no-one owns any number- no matter how much they pay.

What you have is the right to display it legally.

I have no idea how many (if any) have ever been withdrawn for re-arranged spacing.

It's more likely that the matter is dealt with by a police warning and theoffender told to get new plates with the correct spacing.

Persistent offenders are reported to the DVLA and it used to be the case that twice a year such plates were actively targeted by the police and everything was reported back to the DVLA.

I suspect it was advice. Advise doesn't make sence.

Nor does sence. It is sense! (or were you being ironic?)
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

    Love it :rotfl:

You pull someone up for a grammatical error and the edit suggests you made one yourself.

Years ago people were just a bit slow or lazy, there's an excuse/name for all kinds of things these days.

And people with ADHD were naughty little bar stewards.
