I have almost completely given up on ebay.
You are doing well to make it work for you.0

eBay novelty has worn off a bit but it's a good way to get rid of stuff from the house. Even if you get a few quid...... It pains me to throw good stuff out!Mortgage balance Feb 2015 start of MFW Journey-£245316.06/Aim to be mortgage neutral 2022 — Target for May 2024 14 Year Target Balance MF50 = £89,535 — Mortgage Balance £106, 000—Target for May 2024! £89,535

We just accept that selling 10 things (good stuff ) a making £1 each is better than a bin bag on doorstep for charity. its just that mental decision to accept so little cash! It's worked for us over the last 4 yrs (approx £3k), though Mrs SJ's enthusiasm has waned somewhat!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

3k that is brilliant. It's like anything I guess. Just keep chipping away and your at 3k before you know it!!! I spent on my bus pass and a charity donation so my recent sales haven't made their way to my mortgage. I think now I'm just doing it as a norm. That's what happens to stuff we don't want. Posted on eBay and then if I get a lot not sold I can do a car boot sale.Mortgage balance Feb 2015 start of MFW Journey-£245316.06/Aim to be mortgage neutral 2022 — Target for May 2024 14 Year Target Balance MF50 = £89,535 — Mortgage Balance £106, 000—Target for May 2024! £89,535

:rotfl:So started posting some stuff on eBay yesterday. Lego and yes I built it all up hiding in my room hoping the kids wouldn't catch me!
So get it all done an hour later and I'm about to start posting when the kids come in saying they want to spend their pocket money. They have pocket money books that they write in their pound a week and deduct when the spend. Works well but the thing is when they do spend it comes out of mine or hubby's account.
So now I'm wondering if my eBay sales will cover the footballs I was roped into buying!!!
Anyone else ever feel like they are fighting a loosing battle and having this mind set could actually drive you mad!!!:rotfl:
Hubby think it's hilarious this put me in a mood and if he hadn't have been laughing so much and snapped me out of it, it could have actually ruined my Sunday more than working!!! !!!!!! :rotfl:Mortgage balance Feb 2015 start of MFW Journey-£245316.06/Aim to be mortgage neutral 2022 — Target for May 2024 14 Year Target Balance MF50 = £89,535 — Mortgage Balance £106, 000—Target for May 2024! £89,535
