I need that, so feel free to come along. It would be most helpful and I might even have enough room to find a crafting space again. As long as you don't kondo the craft stuff, I get nasty if people look at my craft stuff:rotfl:January 2015 - LBM

Not been a good work day all round today it seems, and I wasn't even there! Hope you have managed to relax a bit at home. And well done on not losing your temper. I am sure you will win each skirmish on the way to the end of the war

3 days! You lucky thing
mines 27th this month. Usually 28th.
Bless DD. I wish I had learned an instrument when I was a kid. I love music, and adored guitars growing up but I never managed to learn. Hope she gets the hang of this next level

Evening
No OPs today, I get paid on Friday and things are a little tight til then
. Not so tight that I've needed to use a CC though!:j
I've got big plans for this payday, so I do hope it's an elastic one
in theory I should be getting a bonus, but I'll believe that when I see it. If it does arrive though, it's going straight off CC1. I want to get it into the 5s before the end of March. And I know that progress won't be as good next month, as the council tax kicks back in.
DD is so tired at the moment, she's super sensitive about everything. The normal little teases that we do and that normally she would laugh off, are just too much at the moment, and we've had tears every day. I think they are working so hard at school atm, getting ready for SATs. DD is dyslexic, and she tries so hard
breaks my heart to see her struggling. Time for bed. Hope everyone else is ok x LBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

Hi StepUp
Fingers crossed for your bonus, how fab that would be to get you into the £5s :j
So much pressure on SATS, I remember when DS had them and was quite withdrawn in the lead up to them. My nephew has dyslexia too, he had coloured paper or something, apparently it helps? It's so hard being a parent as just want to wrap them up and protect them from some of life's harsh times.
Hope DD is getting the help she deserves.

Hi Ali

She finds the buff paper better than the white, and will have a reader for her maths paper, and extra time too. But of course she doesn't get those routinely in class
the teacher justifies is by saying that they don't have time in the run up, but it knocks her confidence so much. Might have to have another word I think. I reviewed her grammar and punctuation test paper last night, and actually she'd done really well
but I'm dreading another two months of this much pressure for her x LBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

Just catching up with your diary

Fab news about the bonus :j
And well done to little miss suttp8, i do think sometime they have so much pressure so young bless them.. I remember when my DD was going through SATs quite well hugs X0 -
Boo

no bonus this month after all.. But I've decided to bite the bullet and do an OP to take me into the 5s anyway
will update properly tomorrow, with a full catchup but I'm feeling really positive tonight, I've overpaid CC1 by just over £500, while making all the other payments, and I didn't have to use my card, or my emergency fund :T so that's a definite achievement

Hey you!! Just catching up.
Bless DD the poor little mite. I remember the stress of my SAT's even now. I slept walked. Same with my GCSE's. Such pressure on such small kids. I am dreading it for Jelly, but more so the 11+ which she will need to do because all of the schools here are grammars. Didn't have a single one in my home county
I am genuinely trying to make plans to move home between primary and secondary to save her that, and also to be able to buy a house because I hope to have a decent deposit by then but it wouldn't stretch to a shed down here.
Am sorry about the bonus hun. I was the opposite, not expecting one at all as they had very carefully laid groundwork to say no one would get one. It isn't fair. Well done on the OP and getting under the 5s!!! You are going to be rid of that CC in no time at all the way you are going!!
Much hugs and love xxTotal Debt: -£5,029.17/£11,220
