After a new PC (just the base unit needed)

I,m going to bow out after this posting
I suggested a system that used modular parts , and all from main suppliers , the other links were to propriety products thatb have one off cases , motherboards subsized hard drives etc etc ,
the unit I quoted uses a STANDARD motherboard and a quality large hard drive and decent DVD writer.
the way things are looking the skt 1150 CPU will be with us for a good time , so will DDR3 memory.
in 12 mths time , as new processers are released , the cost of the i5 and I7 will drop .
the system I have suggested will accept those processors with ease ,
so in 12 mths , spend £100 on a i5 and upgrade the memory to 8 gig
alternatively buy a box from john lewis etc , that "IS IS" , IE cannot be upgraded or modified.0 -
