Another payday, another update!
Took advantage of that rare beast overtime last month which darn near killed me (,lazy bones that I am) but it paid for the holiday in Wales and a bit of savings too!
I managed to stick to the 500 holiday budget too, which makes me happy.
Currently standing at 2700 in savings.
A relative has started their self employed handyman business and it is going slow. I needed some stuff doing around the flat anyway and would rather get him in as I know he will do a great job and I want to support him during the difficult start up year. He is coming over to discuss his week so will see how much of a dent this will cause.
It's my own fault, I've been in this flat for nearly six years and not done much maintenance. Warped doors, cloudy double glazing, stained carpets you name it. Every time I got some savings under me, something would happen that would bump that stuff back down the list of importance (car/vet bills/boiler/excess for the crash and so on)
I am quite looking forward to spending my savings on something I actually want for a change!Emergency savings: 4600
0% Credit card: 1965.000 -
