That's amazing! Did you enter loads or was it sheer luck? I always wonder if the more you enter the more you win, but then there is the theory that winning is random mmmmm don't think I will crack a system!
Best wishes
Nan
Entered lots when I was waiting for baby's arrival but after that not so much. I just seemed to have a bit of luck which was great as my hubby was very seriously ill towards the end of the year and the wins gave us some smiles in dark days. He's well now thank goodness so that's my best win ever!Wins 2014 worth: £8,988
Wins 2015 worth: £5,1280 -
I'm glad you've been paying close attention to my Facebook page, I am a Blogger and share most aspects of my life through various channels, my facebook page being one of them.
The day I posted that status I was a victim of internet fraud, I also went on to write a detailed blog post about this matter which I'm guessing you have missed?
I started my business one year ago but have been Comping for over 5 years! I mention Comping in my Blog a few times but apart from that my hobby is unrelated.canterswest wrote: »Hobby?

'I am shocked and shaken that someone has made a fake profile for me and personally sent personal messages to other coupon pages in my name slandering them! If anyone knows me they will know I don't have a bad bone is my body and to be the victim of this when I am suffering with this rare condition is cruel. I know who you are and I am now heading to the police station to report you. I will also be taking legal action because no one will get away with slandering my business (I'm shaking right now). Thank you so much to everyone who messaged me informing me about this matter.
The next post starts 'I am now at the Police Station .....
Sorry to be a realist but this is nothing to do with hobbies or charity, it's more likely a very low paid job, good luck to her.0 -
Thank you for pointing this out! My prizes have nothing to do with me being a blogger, I started my blog a year ago and have been comping for 5 years.
It's not like I say 'Hi I run a popular blog pick me!' the only comps that allow people to post their websites are Rafflecopter comps and we all know they are selected at random.I'm not a blogger and I won over £9k worth last year whilst also holding down a FT job, having a baby etc!0 -

That is one thing they certainly are not unless the user chooses to go with the selection.
(Just to be clear, not saying you have been selected because you blog)0 -
We cannot post winners names that are in the public domain because someone might be identifiable, so the person MSE are posting about remains unidentifiable how?
Hi! We have actually been in touch with Holly to write the story on her, so this is different to us letting personal info for people that haven't consented go on the forum.

Ahhh, I love this forum to pieces but the negativity here is just rife.
Anyway, congratulations on your winnings hollymarierose over the last five years and congrats to pixelwife on your winnings too! I bet the wins were lovely in the harder days.
And while I'm here, congrats to everyone who wins or tries their hand at comping. Yes it means there's less chance I'll win, but if someone wins and it brings them a bit of happiness, even for a second, then good for them.
And also, thank you to all the people who post competitions and show amazing support on this forum and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah...I feel like I'm writing an grammy acceptance speech...0 -

So just for clarification
If in theory the Facebook Winners thread came back but asked for people to give there name first would this then be allowed?
Eg if I gave my name to the thread any posted with my name would be allowed? as I would have given permissionJuly 2015 Wins- Shaun The Sheep Goody Bag, 4x Books
Year to date: £786
Total to date ( Since 2008 ) = £37,345 :eek:0 -

I spent about 10 mins once looking at your Facebook page at a time you were promoting yourself over a video in Morrisons with a pizza voucher, as I recall. I have not looked at it or anything else of yours since, but screen grabbed what I thought was interesting at the time. I did not know you wrote a blog and have not seen it.
This article does not ring true. It says you joined the forum in 2009 but your first post is 2013. The article says entering competitions is your hobby when my impression is you are running a promotional business which is great. Good luck to you. Perhaps I am wrong.0 -

That's fine, so is it the case then that a name of an individual should never be posted on the forum without their consent regardless of it being in the public domain ie on FB, twitter, winners lists etc?0
