Yes, were Edinburgh and they are all in Ireland. I think if you live close it can be harder to get quality time organised.

I see defiantly worth satying over then :]

    Quick update
My council tax will be £60 a month when im not living there boooooooo
and the water per year is £507 but i can get a month or 2 free i think as i wont be there a lot next month but hay well see

Iv done a quick tally up and my monthly outgoing is going to be roughly £700 this is for most things exc food and fuel and internet so monthly costs will be around 1k mark all in maby a touch over

so i need to up my emergency savings to 12k which will be a full year fall back plan but i wont be able to do this till the house is finished 12k is more than i actually need but id rather be safe than sorry.

I guess this isnt a lot as i read some people mortgage is this but for me its a lot iv had 27 years of having bills under £200 a month and now boom lol but its life and love a challenge :]

Once everything settles down a bit you'll be able to figure out the def cost of all your bills. I have an account only for bills and money I put in there monthly covers all bills. The amounts don't change much each year so I can pretty much leave that account ticking along without doing anything, and focus on curbing my spending! Lol

Council tax in edinburgh is really high!!!! I try not to think about it to much. I did manage to get put down a band after we moved in and got the valuation lot to reassess the whole street cause the new build houses were banded wrong!!!! They don't often move us down so I was well chuffed!!

So today i been at the house stripping some covering down from the hall kitchen and upstairs hall way been to the tip as well got rid of loads this morning.

Waiting around now for the plumber if he even turns up ???????? to cap off 2 fire places and have a chat about the boiler situation

I also had around £900 in some bond £300 in some risky bonds which are up 10% since i bought them ill keep the risky ones as they could go up double

and had £600 in some safe bonds which don't go up buy much at all for years. so i have cashed out to make a over payment later this month

that £600 will knock off £2300 and 7 months off the term i will however find a bit more that may be laying around the house to up this slightly ill let you know what i can find :] i have money jars ill have to count them lol
