That sounds like a grand list for 2016!

You've made so much on eBay! Have you ever thought about signing up to the royal mail surveys if they have any vacancies in your areas? You often get stamps as 'payment' for posting/receiving mail so you could essentially post a lot of eBay things at no charge to yourself.

Hehe well done AFK :] Thats the dedication i like to see hehe

So after 2 weeks of waiting my account is back at work hes never been off that long before so ill leave him off haha

Anyway talked about my main issue on my mind
    Payment on account

Ill be paying £3500  less than i thought due to less earning this tax year 2015/16

Now this does mean i have £3500 more cash in my pocket right now but also means i earned less this tax year so i guess that is a double edge sword

Now Lets look on the bright side that means I now have savings of £19500

I guess i could overpay some of this but i need to see how the next month or 2 are in work but saying that i really enjoy the keeping up weekly ops guess it keeps me thinking about bring the mortgage down ever day

    Any ideas/thoughts be great :]

Ill stick it safe with my EF for now tho so means my EF is 19.5 k

  • You've renovated a house from top to bottom this financial year LIL, I don't think a drop in income is something to be too concerned about - you've definitely been putting the hours in at home. Now the house is finished you'll have more time for work so back to business as usual :)
  • Lets try again, hope i don't loose it this time (the post, i mean:))

    So ideas;
    • A holiday for you and DS
    • Invest
    • Premium bonds
    • o/p to mortgage
    • Garage
    • Free Living expenses for ??/months/year Challenge Alert:eek: - Put in separate account and see how fat it goes on daily living expenses, eg food/petrol but not any mortgage or utility bills:D:p:D
Me, I would probably o/p mortgage less - (how much was your loft conversion?) and get that done properly meaning full flooring (have only part, well three quarters floored) and get 2 windows installed, and sides walled off at the eaves. Oh now you've started me - make into 2 rooms with 1 en suite or jack and jill bathroom, or ...... or ....... and ........ and ........ with .......... and with ..............:D:rotfl::D you get the message:rotfl:
