In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Wow LIL ive missed the move in. Congrats. Also the new car sounds like a good money saver for you.
Your EF is fab, I'd be tempted to use it on an OP so I admire how sensible you are.

Hi Lil
great savings made and quick work. Hope you've got the tree up and decorated.
Think you know what I would do, I'll explain, then you'll wonder how mixed up/complex my mind works:cool:
Add the savings of the Road Tax plus the petrol saving amount each week for the year, add on the surplus of selling and buying another car = ££££. This is what I would overpay:D then ......
put away the savings each week for petrol and car tax back into your EF each week, that way it is still being topped up - ready for the next big o/p - just call me Carole V:rotfl:
Nice present you bought yourself:p just leave some pressie's on your list for Santa to bring.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190
