Your over payment pot is looking very healthy. Looks like your not loosing momentum at all with all the work you've been doing!

Spent yesterday and today painting 3 hours yesterday and about 6-7 today got a fair bit done 90% of the house is now basecoted and all the celings have 3 coats on them woooooooooo

Still got to sand down the handrails door frames skirting then gloss them and put another 2 coats on each wall of chosen color mainly white the odd future wall here and there

I really like this bluey green for the hall way big wall as you go up the stairs

*3* coats of paint on the ceilings? Very impressed, the place must be gleaming! Never managed more than 2 with ours, in my defence they are very large ceilings with cornices etc. ;)

Haha ya 1 base coat i did yesterday and 2 normal coats today 4 hours apart they do look great compared to the walls which only have 1 base coat on so cant wait to get them all done now next week sometime

I took the cornices off that was the originally and was going to put new up but i much prefer it without then + less expense and hassle which aint like me at all haha

The colour of your stairs picture looks exactly like the colour I want to paint my kitchen! I found a really nice farrow and ball one that they are going to colour match for me to get cheaper but the same colour.

That sounds great firegirl do you know the name of it ?
Im thinking of doing the main big wall as you walk up the stairs in it and keep the rest white with oak floor downstairs and greyish carpet going up

On the money front this month
I have the 10k emergency pot stuffed away in an isa I may use 2k for a car once iv moved into the house tho but thats 2-3 months away so well see

I have £1600 in my Over payment pot im not going to overpay this month tho encase i need some of this to furnish the house

I have 3000ish left in the house fund pot which isn't quite enough for what i need 1.5-2k for the kitchen and floors left to do so i think im about 500-1000 short here all depends on how what i actually go for in the end i guess tho

Kitchen is next on the list to order on Tuesday/weds next week wooo then i can get the electrician in to fit the new plugs ect ect and it will be very close to finished

Are you sure that an ISA is the best home for the EF? Rates are pretty dire atm.
