Is AA Gold Warranty at Car Giant worth it?

£499 for the warranty you didn't need to buy.
£20 for a contribution to work that should have been carried out, FOC, by the selling dealer.
I suppose it depends on how one sees it, but yes you could. But when you say the warranty I did not need to buy, I would never buy a car without a warranty. I bought a Lexus RX450H for my wife 18 months ago. It was just over 3 years old and it was a company lease vehicle. Fulton Leasing sold it to me with a Car Care plan warranty. After a few weeks I noticed a knocking noise from the steering wheel and took it to Lexus Edgware Road. The bill for a new steering column and new read suspension was £7k and the warranty covered the lot. After that, it's warranties all the way for me. I'm in profit for the rest of my life.0 -

No it wasn't, the bushes were split and would have failed the MOT.
I don't understand why you are defending them instead of shouting at them from the forecourt - did they claim it had some inspection beforehand?0 -

As I said above: The car was roadworthy, and the MOT is not due until the end of 2015, but split bushes would be an MOT fail.0 -

What are the odds?
The link you posted doesn't exist so I cannot follow you (again!)
Is your point that Fulton Leasing doesn't exist, or my wife's Lexus RX450H doesn't exist? In which case, as you believe me to be an employee of Car Giant and that purchase had absolutely nothing to do with Car Giant, what would be the point in making up that car?
You're just a straightforward troll: whatever floats your boat.0 -

Let me help you out with that link there:

I'm confused. Do you think the split bushes still leave it roadworthy, or do you think that the valid MOT overrides that? If it'd fail an MOT at that point, it's not roadworthy. MOT standards are pretty low.0 -
Sounds like Car Giant are simply rolling them in from auction and straight out the door.
Was it even washed before you picked it up?0
