How do you sleep at night working for a company that sells unroadworthy cars?0

Nope, you've completely lost me. Are you saying I work for Car Giant? They do a lot of posting on forums, do they??0 -

You quite clearly do. There's plenty of companies that post about themselves on forums and social networks.0 -

So, your hypothesis is that anyone who has had a good experience with a company (in this instance AA Warranty and Car Giant) must, by definition, work for them?
I posted so that anyone searching for details on the AA Warranty from Car Giant could get some information. I researched it before taking it out and found a few threads on here. Consequently I thought I should add to the conversation.
Yes, I've never posted here before and have a "newbie - be nice to me" log which you choose to ignore, but I have never had anything to post here before and you need to start somewhere.0 -

Have a look at my phraseology and tell me I sell used cars0 -

Didn't say you sell used cars, back office I'm guessing, marketing or warranty sales somewhere.
You dig up an old thread with a !!!! and bull story about how wonderful the Car Giant warranty is.
Then when members point out you've actually been stiffed, you suddenly get a call righting all wrongs and Car Giant are your saviour.
Next you'll be telling us they've called again and covered the cost of the service and sent a bunch of flowers for the trouble.
If you do work for them you've done an absolutely awful job of representing them. I now picture a company that pressure sells useless warranties, sells unserviced, unroadworthy vehicles and ignores consumer rights.0 -

I don't work for them, but I am happy with them. I will leave it there and as it is an old thread no doubt no one will find it and it won't matter. But if someone is looking to buy a car from them and is debating whether or not to take out the AA Gold Warranty with them (which is how I found this thread) my experience is that it is a good thing.
Anyway, fun chatting with you, I will now get on with my day (which does not involve anything to do with cars or car warranties!)0 -

Missing the point. This would not, if it were true, be a warranty issue.
It'd be a "Why the !!!! have you sold me a car with !!!!ed bushes? I want them fixed!" issue.0 -

That's true, and CG would, apparently, have fixed them for me as I had only bought the car the day before. But I didn't think it through and thank goodness I didn't as I have had it sorted at Citygate VW in Colindale for a net cost of £20. I was impressed with them too as they gave me a lift home when I dropped my car in for its service.0 -

Sorry, I make the net cost £519.
£499 for the warranty you didn't need to buy.
£20 for a contribution to work that should have been carried out, FOC, by the selling dealer.0
