  • Hello friends :hello:

    Update from the ATB house:

    - valuation undertaken - £245k. Outstanding mortgage currently stands at £150,999 :T
    - eating from the freezer tonight :)
    - wage for the week looking good, will have a better idea this time tomorrow if we will be able to get into the 140s next week
    - £50 OP made to keep momentum flowing

Now I must must get off my bum and list some more bits on eBay, we need new bathroom taps and Lino which I am adamant will be funded solely from eBay sales.

    Best wishes, ATB xx
    MFW :)

  • A quick update from me.

Today has been a write off - DS has been a grumpy little man all day and it's really rubbed off on me and DD. I've handed over to DH and I'm about to have a well earned vino.

I am tired, so so tired, and it shows as my eczema is awful. I have a big birthday in three weeks and have a pamper day booked, I can't wait. Aims for next week -

    - keep food spends below £50 - just me and DS at home next week as DH and DD are away visiting family
    - get into the 40s
    - allow myself some me time - I can't even remember the last time I had a shower uninterrupted!

    Take care all xx

  • Good morning friends,

Update from me... £950 OP made which should put us into the naughty 40s by Tuesday :):). Plan for this week is to clear a big back log of work, do lots of marketing and have some 'me time'. I'm also going to do some batch cooking and fill the freezer with yummy homemade ready meals. Oh, and do a charity shop drop off.

I need to work out how much of our 2015 OP allowance we have left so I know what our goal is for the rest of the year.

Back later, have lovely Sundays all xx

  • Hello friends,

How is everyone today? It is raining cats and dogs here! I have worked out that we have £5,727.55 of our 2015 OP allowance left (putting it in bold so it stands out when I skim up-thread to remind myself what the key figures are!)

The plan is to exhaust this OP allowance in two months time, eek! So by 14.11.15. Then all remaining money can be stashed away until 1st January.:)

I've just paid a £300 OP so I've started on my own mini-challenge, hurrah! In other news, my ebay item ends tomorrow and has bids, hurrah again! :):) I also managed to get some lovely sky blue toddler Timberland boots in DDs size in a charity shop this morning for £4, RRP is £50! :):)

Eating from the freezer tonight, chicken kiev and homemade wedges anyone?! Oh the glamour :)

Best wishes to you all, ATB xx

Well done on the bargain find ATB. I bet they look soo cute on DD.

I love homemade wedges. Your plan to exhaust your OP allowance is fab.
I need to get the hang of selling on ebay. I did it 6 years ago but haven't listed anything since.

Hi Lucky, I'm hoping so but who knows - I love targets so I'm keeping everything crossed!

I have updated my signature to show my current mini-challenge and to show the mortgage balance as at today's date :):) Still managing to eat from the freezer and stores, its pasta night tonight :)

Have lovely evenings all xx :)

Edited to add - ebay item sold and being collected this evening - that's £24 in the pot :)
