  • Hi ATB,

So glad to hear you're getting back on track with everything. As horrible these times must be, they can be a blessing as they make us realise and appreciate what a great life we have when things are ticking along nicely.

By the way, I'm sat watching Britain's Spending Secrets as I type this. Thanks for the recommendation - I love these type of programmes! Do you watch Eat Well For Less? Also on BBC, series two is starting this week. That looks in detail at people's spending habits when it comes to grocery shopping.

    Enjoy your evening :)

Another fan of Eat Well for Less and Spending Secrets. I found the Spending Secrets interested - really admired the Baroness who shopped on Ebay and kept the own brand coffee in a tin from Fortnums. What a star!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Hi Princess & Watty, thanks for popping in :):)

I love Eat Well for Less I can't wait for the new series on Thursday :j I also love obsessive compulsive cleaners & that's on again tonight :)

Caught up on loads of laundry, cleaning and admin jobs this morning. Really looking forward to DD starting at school nursery but it's not for another 3 weeks, these have been really long school holidays. She is getting restless being at home and there are only so many trips to the park / soft play I can bear! Off for a cuppa now then back to tidying xx

ETA whole house polished, upstairs vacuumed and laundry put away. Having a telly afternoon with DD, it's piddling it down. Written a cheque for DS nursery fees and all other banking up to date. Looking forward to checking the mortgage balance tomorrow to see the impact of our usual monthly payment :) x

    - All laundry and cleaning up to date
    - one big item listed on eBay
    - lots of work been done
    - Mr VAT man paid for another quarter (always painful I really hate VAT)
    - Salary looking good for this week
    - Having the house valued on Thursday just out of interest....
    - Lots more to list on eBay
    - £999 OP made :):):) I hate this mortgage it will be gone gone gone. ...

    Best wishes all, ATB x
