I simply MUST have the essence of 'Eau de Musky !!!!!' at hand or I will simply FREAK out through withdrawal.

Now I know that most of you girls can't afford it but that just adds to its exclusivity.

It simply is the most exquisite odour this side of my brand new Range Rover interior.
  • My absolute favourite is Dior Addict wear it everyday and always get compliments about it and asked what it is

    Really?

I find it a repulsively cheap odour. A bit like what the insole of a tarts shoe smells like on her way out of a tacky nightclub.

Darling it's only £50 for 50ml, although if you shop at the better establishments it can be had for 3x the price.

Wow, some gorgeous perfume lists here! It was the original Ambre perfume from L'occitane, but I went in there today and I do like their Ambre and Santal, but not as much as the original. I love their Neroli and Narciss, and the Vanille and Orchide, I might save up for those 3! I don't like many of the commercial fragrances but I did like Daisy, it smelt like spring in a bottle. Does anyone have any Miller Harris fragrances? There are a couple of those I want. They do a tuberose scent, Elizebutt, 65. I have a sample of it and it's lovely. it's called Nuit de Tuberose and has a strong tuberose hit! I love tom Ford Velvet Orchid but I hate the Black one. Perfume is so personal, isn't it! My friend was sniffing my perfumes this evening and they envoked different pictures and emotions than in me.

After reading this thread I've decided to treat myself to a Jo Malone fragrance with birthday money. Was my birthday yesterday but still have cold from last week so need to wait til I can smell properly. Want a citrusy one.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I have MH Nuit de Tuberose already. Lol. I buy Decants and splits of the expensive ones from fb groups.
Just got 10ml each of Thierry Muglers Pure range (Leather, Wood, Cafe and Havane) for £20 inc postage. :)

I love tuberose. I rediscovered it a few years ago as I realised my favourite perfume as a teenager in the 90s, Gio by Armani, was tuberose. It was discontinued but I managed to find a large bottle in Sephora in France a couple of years ago. Other tuberose perfumes I have are the original Michael Kors perfume which I think might be called signature now, Fracas in perfume, rollerball and solid perfume and I still have a large Jo Malone bottle of Tuberose which is also now discontinued.

My other favourite which I've started wearing on a day to day basis is Est!e Lauder Private Collection Amber Ylang Ylang. I tried it by accident walking through a department store when I needed to spray some perfume on and fell in love with the smell. It's quite an unusual smell but it does get a lot of complements. Unfortunately it's nearly £100 a bottle and I've been using it every day.
