I like Cacharel, Eden, it's in the green bottle, the blue bottle's vile! Whenever I wear Eden people always comment on how good I smell.

I've used and loved Rive Gauche by YSL for over 30 years. More recently I've added Tom Fords White Patchouli to my perfume collection and as it's quite warm and sultry it's become my evening perfume. I also like Chanel No5 which is just as well considering my brother buys it for my birthday, he's very thoughtful.

Versace Crystal Bright - or Dior Addict. Used to love Rive Gauche - but I don't know whether it was I who changed or the perfume - started to smell absolutely "odd" on me.

There are a couple of customers who come into the shop where I work - and I know (even with my kitchen door closed) when they are in - the whole place REEKS of patchouli oil ....I'm immediately transported back to Isle of Wight Festival 1970 :-D ...smells as if they've had it since then as well :-D

My mum used to adore Rive Gauche, but it also started smelling weird on her. It coincided with the start of the menopause so she wondered if her skin chemistry has changed.

BTW does anyone know of a site where you can put in perfumes you like and it tells you what perfumes notes or groups you like? I hate most perfumes out there, but really love the ones I do like. I wish there a way to find out what I should look for so I don't waste my time when perfume shopping.

I live Rive Gauche and Light Blue, too.

My usual day over fume is Ghost Original or Sweetheart. For evening or posh, I like Est!e Lauder Pleasures.

I bought good old basic O de Lancombe on offer at the airport recently. Fresh and clean lemon scent.

I was wondering the same thing, so I 'googled' and found this-

I found some of the fragrances I like, so I might try something new based on the descriptions they have.
