  • AQA is fun to work for. I've been doing it for a couple months and have learned loads of information. You work whenever you want to - 10 minutes or 10 hours - it's up to you.

You can search anywhere you want to. I use the internet, books, dictionaries, driving atlas, leaflets, recipe books, picked my daughter's brains.

The test is hard, but it's all about quality rather than speed.

    Good luck if you apply.
  • "The questions are really hard at times and they review you every month, they can be really picky even if you think you are doing well"

You are actually reviewed every three months, you have to achieve 92% in your answers and can lose points for getting your answer wrong (or not answering it with enough detail), or anything to do with spelling, formatting and grammar. You are also expected to answer according to a 'house style', however, I doubt that people are turned down for failing to adhere to that when they apply, as you don't know what that is!

It's not that easy to make a decent hourly rate, however it is very flexible. I would imagine that most people don't get in because of poor spelling and grammar - which is usually why people get the boot, too.

I think it has many good points and I enjoy answering the questions, but you really have to work hard (and fast) to make a lot of money. LOL - must have screwed up the quote thingy!

Well, I've been working since November and I've had 2 reviews (both good ones, I'm glad to say) The first was after my trial, and the 2nd around a month later.

You sent your app in december... no reply... and you've now resent it?

    Worth a follow-up email I'd say.

  • If you sent your application to Ruby Cowling, please excuse the delay as she's off work for a personal reason.

I wouldnt have known about this type of work available had it not been for this site. I have only recently joined this forum and have applied for a variety of things that people have shared on here, one of which is mystery shopper too.

Thank you so much - I have just emailed for an Application Pack, so fingers crossed!
  • I had my induction last night and am now ready to start answering the first 30 questions.

Is it just me, or did anyone else get an attack of nerves before they started?

No it was a Romana Olivia? Have emailed again so hopefully hear something this time.
  • I've just found out have been rejected by AQA but have been accepted by Texperts previously?? Has this happened to anyone else??
