Hi
I sent off the first email expressing an interest on the 6th Jan, received my application form and test 2 on the 9th Jan, replied the same and just received an email today saying that I have been accepted
Can't wait to get the induction over with and start earning a bit of spare cash!Newlywed & skint!0 -
Well done weddedbliss!
I've also just been accepted. Just had an email today after sending back the application and test (3) yesterday. Im really surprised I got a reply so quickly. But im chuffed.
It says conditional of a successful induction, which makes me abit nervous but hopefully it will all be fine.
It says the signature cant be typed but I have read some people have scanned in their signature instead and emailed the contract. Do they allow that?
Thanks all.0 -
I emailed the contract and put the signature page in the post.0

AQA (Any Question Answered) are in the process of hiring more researchers for their text service.
I was wondering if current researchers would share their approximate earnings to give people who are interested in applying for a vacancy a rough idea of potential earnings. Also a rough number of questions you answer per hour and how many hours you do per week. Just an average as I know this varies greatly.
I've read that they already have over 2000 researchers and get about 30 000 questions a day. So split between everyone thats only 15 questions per day per researcher so it doesn't seem like you can make too much money.
I'm hoping there are plenty of people on here to prove me wrong, as I have just been accepted.
Any input would be great.0 -
Hi ST8
All 2000 researchers are never on at the same time. Sometimes when you log on there are loads of questions to be answered, and at other times there are hardly any. It varies literally by the minute.
Similarly, some questions take the full 15 minutes to answer, and some are already in the database and can be used as is, or be tweaked to fit. So in one hour you can answer as little as 2 questions or as much as 10 or more. Some say they can do 20 or 30. Hopefully, some day I can too.
When I started a couple months ago I was thinking an extra £100 a month would be great, but over the xmas holidays (bear in mind I already work full time) I managed to make about £500 just from evenings and a couple full days.
With practice, you do get better because you learn where the good research sites are and how to re-word questions etc. One word of advice - never sacrifice quality for speed. As with all forms of self employment, it's up to you how much you make.
You will definitely enjoy it. Hope you make loads.0 -
Thanks alot iwantoberich, I certainly hope to make an extra £500 like you.

I earned about £7 last night in 2 hours, but it was my first session and i was quite slow! Going to sit with the printer next to me tonight and start building up a file of useful information, links etc. Am hoping to get much faster!!0

Hi there!
Sent off my application form + test on Saturday. Really hoping I get in as I think it'd make a nice little earner for uni.
I have read the whole thread - but what's the average time it takes to get a reply?
Thanks for making me aware of this great service - both as a customer and (hopefull) employee!
First post!
Researchers get 15 mins to answer each question (or 30 mins if its a hard one). If you can't answer in that time it gets passed to another researcher. Generally speaking if a question has been waiting for half an hour or more it should be given priotity by researchers0 -
