Anyone know if Romany is taking her time, or has mine been lost?
I sent my test off a week ago and I havent had a reply. I've noticed that others have got results back a lot quicker than that.
What should I do? Should I send off for a new test?

    Hi!

I sent in my application and test on Friday evening.

I believe that my test was without error, but much to my dismay I noticed a typo on the email I sent after I sent it. I have really been sweating that, but hopefully they will judge me on the test and not a typo on my email.

I am really sweating this, because it would be ideal for me. I would really enjoy it too! I am always researching trivial facts on the internet, and I love writing.

If I don't get in straight away I will definitely try again. I hate waiting though.

Anyway, I guess I just need to be patient.

    Hi

First post so take it easy.

After watching this thread for a while, just thought I would offer another view which, whilst not wishing to put anyone off becoming a researcher, I feel should be offered.

AQA seem to have enlisted far too many researchers lately which has seen a dramatic drop in the number of questions available to answer.

I assume they have over subscribed to allow for people dropping out.

Questions during the work are very low now, sometimes meaning you only get to answer about 5/6 in an hour. Weekends are also on the decline.

I agree awith the AQA policy of quality over quantity but it must also be said that many researchers are trying to earn a living or at least an extra income from this.

Hopefully a bit of an advertising campaign (if planned) may help the situation but at the moment don't get your hopes up if you are thinking of earning a lot.

    All the best
  • I started with them last week and have noticed that some times of day are busier than others. But in the evenings, especially at the weekend, it's very busy. I've had numerous messages asking to log on as it's too busy for the amount of researchers. perhaps if you're looking for a daytime income you might struggle, but my evening work has been plentiful so far...
  • Oh, I applied for this as it would be perfect for me in the evenings. I dont finish work until late at night, but didnt get in. I hear only 10% of people get through, is that right?

I submitted Test 8 on Thursday and heard I hadn't got in this afternoon.

I swear there was nothing wrong with my test in terms of answers or grammar/spelling etc. but there you go.

Better luck to you other hopefuls ! ;)

I have not heard back one way or the other, but I have a question for those of you who failed the test the first time, applied again, and passed.

Did you send another application request from the same email address? Did you have to disclose that you took the test before and failed?

I am just curious; although hopefully I will pass the first time.

Oh well, I may try again or just carry on with STP whilst surfing and doing daily clicks.

I also applied on Friday, and heard this afternoon that I hadn't got in!

For some strange reason Rowina sent me 2 more application forms over the weekend. (Test 8 & 9) I took test 5 on my original application.

Should I just automatically re-apply using another test?

    Thanks
  • I applied on Thursday evening but haven't heard back from them yet. I sent mine to Romany de Oliveira - maybe she is not working today. Do the responses come in office hours or do some come in the evenings? I keep checking my emails every two seconds!
