How on Earth does anyone ever win on Twitter!!

I'm of the opinion that Bloggers and Kiss a*ses win a lot more than any one else on Twitter. Don't think there is any doubt in that. I've probably been lucky enough though. I've won about 6 prizes on Twitter.

One of them I had taken off me, because I hadn't been online to read the message within about 2 hours after they let me know I had won they decided to give it to someone else. I was annoyed about that as it was a copy of FIFA and Football Tickets.

Another prize was a little Walking Dead Pendant, the girl running the comp was from USA so I guess she couldn't be bothered posting it. I told her I never recieved it the first time and she said OMG I will send it again with something special for your wait, still never received nothing lol.

I agree bloggers do win more as do the cheats i.e @M4ttr1987. :cool:

I disagree about the brown nosing bit though as i've never brown nosed infact I usually just RT with no interaction at all yet do win on twitter regularly.

I've had 1 win and it wasn't even a Twitter win. It was Rafflecopter and the person contacted me via Twitter.
I have a few thousand tweets over a couple of years (on and off)
It's frustrating but they are at least pretty easy to enter.

I tweet a lot. I win quite a few.. 4 this month so far and 9 in January. Not huge prizes but very welcome ones, best this month was £50 book tokens.

I don't brown nose. blog or cheat. I have just the one account which is mostly comps with a few comments now and then.

I do find the "bot" compers pages very useful for catching any comps I've missed I always click on the company and open a new tab though. Be careful if you do this as the bots will tweet old, closed and foreign comps too.

Just nipped over to Tweeter to look up the name above and that person won 6 comps yesterday!!!!

How does he do that?

How can you cheat on Tweeter?

I just click and forget and move onto the next one, the only interaction I have with the person running the comp is if I am lucky enough to win.

Am I missing something?

He was supposedly using a bot to tweet absolutely everything which had the keywords Win comp etc.
Not sure if he does now but he does tweet EVERYTHING that the companies post. If they do 20 tweets for the one comp he will have RT'ed them all.
People have also said that he shows up more as he has thousands of followers ?

He has multiple accounts too & tags himself in comps. :cool:

There seem to be a lot of cheats & fake comps on Twitter atm. @CompingFairy account is an interesting read & opens your eyes. I've unfollowed all the company's that pick fake winners. :cool:

I've only been comping via MSE for about 6 months, but most of my wins have been on Twitter, and a couple on Facebook. I work full-time, but do the twitter comps in my lunchbreak. I (nearly) always tweet 'thanks for the chance to win this great ... whatever the prize is' and if you can put something even vaguely amusing in your tweet that might get you tweeted, that may help.

Just keep trying - by the law of averages, you have to win something, surely? Best of luck!

I would also spread comp tweets / rt's out bit, don't look too needy!

unless of course, you create more than one a/c..

2 years of tweeting and not a single win, often think of giving up on them (but I'm no quitter!). Oddly, I've won 2 things on FB in the last month and I hardly ever use it for comps as I don't want to scare my friends away.
