I've been comping for just over a year now and have only ever had one elusive Twitter win which which was within my first month of comping!
Since then nada not a bean
Therefore I was just wondering whether anyone can offer any tips on how you win these darn Twitter comps.
I seem to retweet to within an inch of my life every week!! My tweets are public and I do get the occasional RT from the competition runner but as for a prize...
Any tips or tricks would be appreciated

brown nose the promoter and if you're an attractive woman in the display pic it usually helps
and mentioning lunar trips by rocket propulsion works0

Change your Twitter name to Di Coke0

Well I have to draw the line at brown nosing and I think Di Coke may have something to say if I purport to be her (LOL).
Onwards and upwards then with trying to secure that second win!!!!:jCertified Comping Addict :j

I win regularly on twitter, I rt daily but always check T&C as some rt comps are 1 entry per person,
I dont 'brown nose' as previously mention
I dont win as often as those that do, but have a good turnover of win on twitter, I always publicly say thanks and tweet a pic of the win
I will say stay with it and be positive
 hope this helps xx2009 WINS £4404.06 2010 Wins £8812.56 2011 £11444.75Year challenge 2011 - 485/3650

We have one a few things over the year. We use our normal account so there's other tweets not just comps. I generally only go after the ones I want and most of my wins have been from companies I tweet to regularly and interact with. I also retweet every comp tweet but make sure you check rules. And if retweeting always make sure you go back to the original tweet. Iv messed up as I follow a comper and used to retweet theirs but someone said to go to actual original tweet.
But there are hundreds and sometimes thousands of people retweet big prizes so just keep doing it.
Ensure all instructions read. Nearly all you have to follow and rt but others you have to post a reply or answer a question or interact in some way0

I win quite a lot on Twitter - I'm a blogger, so that might make a difference, but it's not always things that I'd feature. I'd say make sure you make an effort to customise your profile - a profile image is a must (preferably of your face), as well as a blurb about you.0

so what you are saying is that the twitter comps are fixed, and not drawn randomly.
I have only ever won twice on twitter both were on competwitionI do it just for fun and whatever I win is a bonus0

 This.
Theres a certain blogger on there atm that wins the majority of competitions. That has ruffled some feathers within the comping community on there!0

You simply MUST: suck up, be a friend, have an actual baby AND wedding due within the next 6.78 weeks, blog about cat crocheted jackets for valentine's, be a kept husband/wife of an oil magnate, only select prime numbers in instant win draws, change your profile pic hourly, donate to music charities, have the number 24 in your postcode, moan about how good life used to be back in the day; to even be considered for selection.
Then again it may all just be a big huge fun inflatable ball of random that no matter of analysis will ever make sense of.“We are not interested in the fact that the brain has the consistency of cold porridge.” - Alan Turing (1912-1954)0
