    This.

Theres a certain blogger on there atm that wins the majority of competitions. That has ruffled some feathers within the comping community on there!

That would certainly suggest its not random.

Its a bit of a grey area to be honest. There's been theories on how a winner is chosen (Di Coke) did an article about it and i think the theory was "the more followers you have, the higher up in the results you are" The article is here: http://superlucky.me/2014/09/choosing-winner-rt-giveaway/ also i think it goes on how many times someone is mentioned, so if that theory is proved to be true, as she is a popular blogger it would make sense that thats why she wins alot but then again, there are rumours that she gets paid by the companies and works for them but i cannot verify that.
I've just recently became aware of this blogger as i don't comp as much as i used to on Twitter so its interesting reading about her!
  • I do a few twitter comps but mainly the ones for big companies rather than recruitment companies in Manchester for example. I have very few followers and I'm wondering whether it's worth the bother tbh. I hate the magazine ones, they obviously have someone full time tweeting as the number they post is staggering. I can't get on twitter at work so it's a nightmare when I get home to have to wade through the whole list with some companies not sending DM's for their prizes.

I'll probably keep it ticking over but it's interesting to read these thoughts, I'll anticipate never winning anything down this route!!
 - Just because I love this emoticon!

So horrid to see the amount of bullying that poor girl gets. People jump to conclusions about her and without any proof rip her to shreds on a daily basis.

Disgusting behaviour by grown adults to a 21 year old, the hateful posts to her have been shocking, it's become an obsession for some.

Do people actually think about the repercussions of bullying?

I have seen the damage it can do to someone I know someone who tried to hang herself because of bullying.

I have said it's bullying openly to some involved but it's a waste of breath as it's mob mentality as per usual.

It is jealousy at the basis of it all but who knows if there is something more to it. I cant comment much as i havent seen all the things shes won over time as i always miss the announcements of winners due to work.
Its happened before when another prolific comper used to win the majority of competitions, she got accused of working for the companies she won from, being a PR girl etc.

With Twitter, i think its best just to enter and if you win you win, if you dont, move on to the next comp.

  • well it's one win more than i've ever won...i've still yet to win anything on twitter...and roughly half of my comp entries are Twitter ones :)
2020:Stationary bundle, puzzle book, Tarmac pen, bundle of games , gardening bundle, GIF collectables toy, Mars goodies, La ReDoute bundle, mug set. 2022: Feb: Maltesers biscuits, book
  • I have won quite a few times on twitter. Just by usual retweeting. I have mainly comps on my twitter and it hasnt made much difference. I honestly think its just luck.
