If you want to ensure you get the cashback you need to wait until it becomes payable in your TCB account - until then it can be stopped/withheld. That could take 90 days - based on TCB's terms for the offer.
If you switch away I think it is highly likely (and almost certain) the cashback would never become payable - why would NW pay up for a customer who has already left them?
And make sure you follow up after 90 days via lodging a support ticket with TCB if its not been paid. Sometimes you have to give them a nudge to follow up.0 -
Anybody had a success doing the quidco or tcb AND the RAF. We have a joint flex plus but I'm considering each recommending the other then switching 1 of each of our donor accounts via tcb to a flex.0

I doubt they will pay out on both - but why not give it a go. The refer a friend offer pays more - £100 shared - and the £81 from TCB for the account opener is a bonus.
So do the refer a friend - and get the friend to apply via TCB. In a few weeks you get £50 each and then maybe a further £80 for the applicant in three months. Given you have to keep the account for 3 months under the RAF terms you have nothing to lose.0 -
I've never used TCB but attracted by the FlexAccount offer.
Does the TCB site feed you through to Nationwides own site to make the application? I'm already a NBS customer with online banking.
I've got four Flexaccounts already so think I will have to close one before I apply for this offer? One will be closed next week by Yorkshire Bank which should then give me a switch account for Nationwide if the TCB offers still running.
When TCB say you need to delete cookies if you have visited any other merchant offering Nationwide products does that apply to Nationwides own site which I regularly visit!?
Thanks for any help.0 -

Might be a bit late by now but in answer to the question about TCB feeding through to Nwide site, yes it does. But having an account already doesn't make it easier. I went through the process this morning and the system even asked for new security questions for my 'new' internet banking - it does NOT give existing customers an option to log-in first! And perhaps that's best, as you don't want to compromise the cookie tracking at all.
Which brings me to your second question about cookies. YES!!! Clear all cookies first. Especially if you are a regular Nwide customer. TCB, like all cashback sites, will only track the transaction if your visit to the merchant sites is tracked as 'new' and from Topcashback. Not clearing cookies carries a high risk of tracking failure - which won't be TCB's fault.
I always use a specific browser (usually Firefox i.e. not my usual one, Chrome) for cashback sites, which I set to clear all cookies when closing. And for high value cashback I always double-check that setting is still working and/or manually clear cookies - BEFORE even logging in to TCB.0 -
Worth noting quidco has the £80 offer now too - albeit with target payout date of 7 July (nearly 4 months).

PS Zanderman - presumably you can add your new account to your main NW login in later?0 -

Do Nationwide have a max accounts level?
I already have 2 current and a joint + e-savings.
If not, I may try for one through Quid-co too.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0
