£80.80 TCB for Nationwide Accounts

I would encourage people to read the detailed terms of this RAF offer – before you jet off to sign up! Note the 2 direct debit requirements and the 3 month minimum term for the account to be open after the switch – otherwise the money may be clawed back

This TCB offer may not be open for long – maybe just this week - as it was half this sum last week.0 -

If you didn't, you might want to give it a try rather than waiting for someone else to post further clues.
Of course I did.
Thank you for your utterly useless post. Why bother posting as you added something of no value?!0 -

Don't think I'll bother with RAF, i'll see if hubby can open a donor account in time first.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0

The RAF is guaranteed (£50 for you and hubby) if you meet the terms - whereas the cashback from TCB may not pay out (that can happen).
Why not simply give Nationwide his details anyway - and if and when he applies you/he will qualify.

You can always set up a couple of direct debits on his donor account (e.g. two savings accounts with a certain well known supermarket - they set them up within 48 hours in my experience even if the payment is not taken until later).
Up to you - but £181 is surely better than £81?
PS This assumes you and hubby are friends at present - odd the offer doesn't say friends and family?!0 -

It does: "If you're a Nationwide Current account holder*, you can recommend your friends and family."
The terms also say: "This offer may not be used in conjunction with any of our other current account cash reward offers" so that may mean you cannot get cashback and the RAF bonus for the same switch.0 -

Also, with a previous Nationwide refer-a-friend offer, it couldn't be used in conjunction with the TCB offer anyway (they had different links).0 -
Card for hubbys donor came today, so he has signed up through TCB too

I wonder if I could switch away again after the switch completes?
I can't see anything in the t&c's...I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -

Quidco state that you have to have the account for 3 months before it becomes payable. I'm pretty sure I remember TCB stating this too, but it might have just been the Quidco one or they may have changed it.
In any case, if you have also done the RAF through Nationwide, then they definitely state that if the recommended person closes their account within 3 months, then they could take the £50 back from both parties.0
