  • Your kind words do help thank you!

    My debt is GOING DOWN!!!!
  • Doesn't look like we can claim on the insurance as although chained and secured to the cycle carrier, the car was in the (locked) school carpark and not the garage! Bummer!

Very bad luck "in debt...". Where do you live maybe somebody on here could give you and your daughter a lift? (Hubby follow later)
:grouphug: Things can only get better.
  • A very kind thought me unfortunately we are booked with our touring caravan so can't go on ahead.

    Hi idabdwi

Sorry to hear about the lastest bout of bad luck, it is so crappy when your plans start falling apart around you without having it made worse by the actions of others.
Is there no way that the bikes could be covered on your household insurance?
Wish there was some way that we could help you get on your holiday so that you could get a break from the bad stuff.
hope things start looking up for you soon, and that your OH doesn't get too wet fixing the car:D :D

IDA - sending big telepathic hugs to you

But... you've not smoked through this crisis - which in my book means you've truly cracked it!

Keep an eye on freecycle for bikes being offered - especially kids ones seem to turn up on my local group quite regularly.

Hope you manage to get away very soon
