Well all the best, and keep us posted.!
Just tell you EA (if you can't get out of your contract,) that you need better pictures as you are not happy with the current ones. (But pimp your house a bit first!

Are there a lot of new builds in your area? With government mortgage contributions and NHBC guarantees that may be your main competition.
If you were to have solar panels removed (I am not sure if you get FIT or if it is "rent a roof") what would the penalty to you be?
I have solar panels that I own and get the high FIT rate. I wouldn't have entertained rent a roof ones.0 -
Hi All, will certainly keep you informed as to what happens.
In fact I will come back with 'new' pics before I put it up again.

I like your house
- if something like that came on the market for that price in my area then I'd definitely view it (if I was still looking to buy lol). But I do agree that the pictures are not good. From looking at them, it's hard to get an idea of how the house flows and I don't see the point of duplicating the same image. Picture 8 is awful and does you no favours - that's the one with the back of someone's head and the clear view of the cleaning products in the bathroom!
Having read through the EA's description, there are a couple of things that might put me off there too - the bit about the front garden mentions 'shading', which would make me think 'big trees = problem'. The description also mentions CCTV wiring a couple of times. Personally I'd be wondering why you had that - it'd make me think twice about the area and I'd wonder if you'd been burgled or if the neighbour was a problem. Also (and this is probably just me) the description just feels a little bit too detailed about the brand names of everything. It's nice to know about the boiler and the 'big' stuff but going into detail about the brand of underlay just seems a bit much.0 -
Hi Dave
your right to take on the advice of the peoples on here.
I had exactly the same issue, in my case I wasnt getting viewings and now with the change of EA and decluttering, I am looking forward to complete on thursday.
Just hang in there, and keep the thumbscrews on your new EA, they will happily do nothing in the chance it sells.0 -
Here we go:
Only annoyance about their listing is that photos are jumbled up!

Unjumble those photos and make sure they are all same size.
In fact, re-take the whole set, as they aren't very good at all (eg too dark).0 -
Can you cut back that huge tree in the front garden?
Also look into anything you can do to try and age the brick work on the extension
Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
