    Hi Ognum,

They're 'A Shade Greener's Panels', been on for 5 years with no issues. I can see what you mean but they're covered by insurance, worry free, no issues with contract and mortgage approved. Maybe some dodgier ones out there do you mean? Though I do take your point. I explain to anyone who asks in full detail so that it doesn't have to be an issue. Its saved us a lot on the electricity.

Good point, I will find out on house round corner.

Space is council owned/maintained. There's no issues and I always suggest, as I wouldn't want/expect people to take my views alone, that they are welcome to ask all neighbours locally (NHW area) as all friendly.

Neighbour is great, his house etc is fine, he just likes 'odd' us/uk cars. Not much I 'can' do about that.

    Hi MissPrice/ethank,

Thanks v much for feedback. I think I can sort most of those. The tiles are real solid marble....thought that was a good thing? Only a border in bathroom.

Hear what you say about wires etc. It's hard to tidy because, if I did (say cut them) then the would-be purchaser would have lost the 'attached' wires (i.e they're for speakers etc). Maybe there's something I can do:)

I hear you on the 'not everyone can see an 'empty' room' thing. I mentioned this to the EE and they said it was 'better' as you get full idea of room size. Hard to know what to do for the better.

Hear you on the pictures, will get something done about it.

    Thanks again.

I actually like the tiles, maybe with better lighting they can look different enough.
The wires can be rolled and fixed closer to the wall, those pipe cleaner ties will do it. Still better pics will help sell it, and sorry to say but the pics up now do no justice to the house.
    63 mortgage payments to go.

    Zero wins 2016 😥

    Hi Jaylee,

Thanks for your advice. You seem to be with others on the pictures!

To be honest, at least 3/4 viewers have said same and said, in person, house is much nicer. It's one of those things were it seems impossible to take good photos.

Though I will endeavour to do something about it asap.

Thanks all, given me a LOT to go on/do something about. You've helped me more in an hour than I've had in a year:)

    KR, Dave:)

That's OK. :) I am sorry if any of it offends you. It's just really my opinions. I just feel it looks rather lacklustre, and the pics are making the house looks drab and poky. And I don't expect it is.

The price is fairly good for a 4 bed detached though, so with a bit of colour and life in the house, and some new pics, it should do better. :)

    Good luck.

No, it's just business so nothing personal taken!

I've been 'DYING' for some feedback for longer than I can think so at least I have something to go on now.

It's the cheapest 4 bed in the area (seeing as its a converted 3bed) because I want to sell it...hence it's been lowered.

Still, first thing I will do is new pics, layout and tidy up.

    KR ALL, Dave:)

Potential buyers will have concerns about mortgages and solar panels
    Kitchen is dark
No floorplan so see how the extension has been integrated with 'flow' around house
All the pictures are poor, EA hasn't done well
Pic 9 - loads of wires hanging out the wall! 5.1 surround-sound in the master bedroom isn't everyone's choice!
Pic 15 - problems with neighbour's leylandii, house looks heavily shaded
'open' area to side will worry parents who fear !!!!!philes will creep in
    Nothing about broadband services

Overall presentation is poor, you may have got away with it in a buyer's market.

Definitely get a floor plan. As the house is advertised as 'extended', it's important to show how it's been done. Some houses just don't flow right if the extension was poorly planned.

Is this the one round the corner that sold for £169k? If it is we don't know what it sold for, just that was on the market for £169k

There were 2 houses sold in your post code in 2013 - nothing at all last year. One went for £165k and one that looks very similar to yours - extended - sold for £152k.

Have prices increased in your area in the last 2 years?

That one does look quite a lot bigger inside though.

Is it? Or is it the way the pictures are taken?
