any fast sub £120 10" or bigger tablets

Am after a fast 10" or bigger tablet purely for web browsing and emails etc, no games or anything. Are there any pretty fast ones available for under £120. I'm not fussed on brands etc

Many thanks

There are many available in your price range.

This one for £75 gets decent reviews...

(If the link doesn't work, search "Polatab Elite Q10.1" Android 4.4" on Amazon.)

Why fast if you wont be playing games? Will opening the email client in 0.4 seconds make much difference than one that opens in 0.5 seconds?

  • Might be worth considering a Chromebook which will have a good screen size and is very good for browsing and streaming. Prices are coming down all the time.

    No

Past experience says Archos have little or no interest in aftersales support once the warranty is over. That's not to say other companies do better, but if you pay a bit more for a "name" over a cheapie tablet you should expect some support, and Archos in my experience fail to deliver.

Price rules out a decent new ten inch .
Possible pick up an older model like Samsung Galaxy Tab or Note 10.1

Fast for online trading? Your WiFi and internet backhaul will be a bigger overhead than the processor. At the price, you'll get cheap and cheerful, not top-spec anyway.

Exactly this. And their quality control is awful.
