I've decided that this week I will also take my piggy bank to the coinstar machine  and cash in whats in there. I know its not a huge amount but I am joining the Sealed Jar Challenge which starts on 1st December and don't want to include those pennies as they weren't part of it. I know its not very dfw to pay money to use those silly machines, but that way I can start with a clean slate :D

You can get money bags from your bank for free and involve DS in counting all the pennies - helps with counting skills? :D Then you do't waste any money - or you could offer a bag to DS for his help? I'll be doing this with DD as she's learnt to count to 100 at school (which was a big surprise to me lol)

Sea ... I have tonnes of those bank bags but unfortunately I don't have enough of any coins to make up a bag.

Can you not mix and match though?
Also - if you just write the total on each bag that isn't filled, they just weigh them to check them and then bank them. I've done this lots! lol

    Hi BenBen,

Had a fab time on Sat - thanks, was lovely to meet a real life DFW as you put it!! lol

Hope rest of your w/end was ok. We had fun at Haskins, I didn't buy much, just two decorations at £1.49 each and a book for a friends DD.

I promise to update my diary when I get a chance, but it's manic at work at the moment!!

Tigz ... we had a lovely time too, next time I'll take the camera along so I can show everyone how agile you are climbing to the top of the soft-play centre :D:D:D

Sorry I didn't get a chance to reply to your text last night, I got 5 boxes from Tescos, where they keep the car and diy bits, and 2 yellow ones from Woolies. I think those ones are better as you can move the dividers inside;)

Today I have spent £1.90 on lunch, 30p on a toasted teacake :o , and £6.00 for a skittles night with work in December.

My tesco wine delivery turned up at :15 and yep, it was all fine, £11 for 12 bottles of wine  I might try and sort out Decembers budget tonight as this week might be a bit hectic nearer payday with getting things ready for ds school fayre and for the weekend. Will report back later with an update ....
