This week is knackering me out !!! Ds went to bed tonight fine then woke up and has started being sick everywhere :o:o I put him in my bed while I changed his bedding and then he threw up all over my bed too :o:o The poor washing machine can't keep up :D I can't help but think something must be really worrying him or on his mind at the moment but can't get out of him what it could be ... also can't believe how sicky he's been since he started school, I know everyone says they catch loads of stuff while they're building up their immunity but he seems to have been ill constantly over the last couple of months :o

He was absolutely fine again today, got up, ate breakfast and was completely normal so I sent him in ;) I went to see his teacher tonight abut his behaviour and she thinks a lot of it is because he isn't used to playing with groups of children, he tends to spend most of his time with adults or with one other child rather than lots of kids, and she said his socialising skills still need some work :o He has always been quite shy and has never been the life and soul of the party or great at making new friends, so maybe he's finding it all a bit hard :o:o We've come up with a few strategies between us so will see how it goes :o

Yes and no, I'm glad I've spoken to the teacher, but I'm still concerned as to why he's behaving this way ... he knows what he's doing is naughty but he's not sorry for it :o:o:o He hit me a couple of times tonight too, he gets really angry and really frustrated :o
On the plus side I spoke to his father tonight about it and he was actually fairly civil for a change so hopefully he will start to support me on this one

Glad his dad is being somewhat supportive - long may it last! Does DS like books? You could have a route in the library for books on this theme - Sophia has an issue with sharing (big time) and my mum got her a series of books on 'Why Should I.....Share? Eat Healthily etc and they definitely had an impact and helped. Might be worth a try? He could just be testing the boundaries as well.

Thank you Sea, I might do that and I may ring the health visitor too. He is pretty good at sharing stuff he strugges with making friends and playing together, he does still tend to play alongside others rather than with them. Then again, he is one of the youngest in his class, some are already and he won't be 5 until July :o:o
