Sorry you are still feeling yucky. I hope you manage to get an early night and feel better in the morning x

I went to bed just after 8pm last night and was up and down most of the night being sick  so today I'm having a sofa-day ... I don't remember the last time I had a day off work sick.

I have stopped being sick now (I hope) but feel really shivery and have no energy whatsoever. I am planning on having a quiet day catching up with everything on here, possible some aqa'ing, writing some xmas cards and maybe some daytime tv and sleep :D

  • Could be your body telling you to slow down a bit...or just starting working in a school you are probably susceptible to more germs anyway. I caught everything going in my NQT year and when I was doing the PGCE a lot of people ended up off with chickenpox!

Try not to do TOO much today. I'm sure everything can wait one day while you get better. And fingers crossed your parcel comes today.

Gosh this being ill lark / laying on the sofa is great for my finances :D:D

I have just checked all my accounts / moves some moeny aorund etc, and the outcome of it all is that I have now reached my £3000 mortgage pverpayment target for 2007  Originally I wanted to reach £2400 (£200 per month) but I have beaten this thanks to overtime / holiday pay in my old job :D:D

I have also updated all my mortgage tracker sheets  and once I pay off the money I've got saved in the pot (added together to £500 of the money mum and dad gave me) I will knock another 5 months off the mortgage, bringing it down to ending in October 2031 instead of December 2034 :T :T :T I am soooo chuffed :D:D

So, the plan now is to chuck any more savings this month into my sparkly new terramundi ;) and then in January I can start on another mortgage-busting bonanza :D:D
