  • I also read your diary every day. I love the way you just get on with things and make sure you and DS go out to the beach or the park. Just brill ! Kids always remember the trips to the park and the beach, and the (no cost) fun things like sticking and glueing, and flying kites. He will have such happy, fun memories of being a kid. I know I did and we always done things like that when I was little and I always done it with mine. There is sooooo much yu can do without spending money. Some toddlers and little 'uns dont go out from one day to the next, and then their mums wonder why they are badly behaved or don't sleep??
Keep up the good work with the diary.

I've just been over to IA's diary for a catch-up and my Wii has been cancelled as dialaphone haven't got any  so they're giving me £180 cash instead :j :j Am well happy with that a I thought they'd just substitute it with something else ... now I need to decide what to do with the money ... do I go and buy a Wii (would be nice but not sure how much I'd actually use it), or .... put it towards the mortgage payments (probably knock about a month off it;) ) ... or put it away to go towards each months phone bill .... or something else ???

Have just checked the mortgage calculator and the Wii money would actually knock about £500 off my mortgage total, meaning it would finish 2 months earlier .... surely this has to be the right option??? My logic is that if I am on here most evenings either reading mse or doing aqa, then when Iam I gonna get up and play it?? I think once the initial novelty has worn off I don't know that I would use it all that much :o

Today has been another pretty cheap day ... I spent 60p on a bagel and then £1.90 on lunch ... and thats it  Have to go and add up how I've done for the week now but I don't think its been too bad.
Myy aqa person is going to do my review this weekend hopefully so then I should be able to get on making some more money there too ;) Am off now to start planning my weekend ... need to write a long long list of silly niggly jobs that need sorting  :D

to pay the money off the mortgage and reduce the term by another 2 months def seems a good option to me.

Of course you could spend it on something for "you" - you know, what's it called....urm...ur.....oh, yes, that's right - A TREAT!!!!!

Have a fabby weekend - don't do too much, you put the rest of us to shame!!

    Hi Ben Ben
i think paying the wii money off your mortgage would be a good move too. If it would save you an extra £500 for an input of £180 thats great. You would probably only have used it when friends came round anyway. Paying it off the mortgage will get the best value out of the money.
I did the dial a phone thing but opted for the nintendo ds - which will be used as one of dd's xmas presents.:D
