Sorry for lack of a update today, I have been answering questions on aqa
I need to do 25-30 and then have a review to see if I'm allowed to get going properly. So far I have done 11 ... it is harder than I thought, well its not hard but theres lots of bits to remember when you're new I guess  Anyway, have decided to have a break from it for tonight, am gonna go for a quick shower in a minute and then do my nails while "Grumpy" is on on BBC2
Moneywise I have spent £2.75 on lunch  MUST TAKES PACKED LUNCH TOMORROW!! ... and also spent £1.80 on bread and milk tonight. I manageed to get about half the ironing done tonight when ds went to bed (Mum is coming to stay tomorrow so don't want a lecture).
I have been meaning to sort out a pension for aaaaages, and I get one in my new job. I'm not sure how much my employer contributes (haven't had the paperwork through yet), but based on what my contribution is I will have a pension of approx £290 a month  Think I need to increase my payment !! Hopefully if the AQA thing works well then that may allow me to spare a bit more cash from my salary towards my pensionMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Anyway, other than that it has been a no spend day today :j :j I took a packed lunch and haven't had time to spend money anywhere else :rotfl:
I managed another 3 questions on AQA tonight but the phone kept ringing so I gave up for tonightAm off to bed now to read a magazine, night all x

Hi Ben Ben,
Sorry you are having problems with your ex. Been there and done that:rolleyes: . Ex and me get on fine now that we haven't spoken for the past 4 years.:rotfl:
Re the school thing - if they have reports etc you can ask school to send dad a copy of ds school report as well as yourself. Many schools will also see both parents separately on parents evenings if you ask.
Good luck with the AQA stuff.

Have just checked Quidco and its now showing as aid for October (£56), and having put that into my mortgage table it takes another month off the total :j
Now with the savings I've made this year to pay towards my mortgage I will pay it off 2 years and 2 months early !!! Originaly it should have been paid off in December 2034, it is now showing as being finished in October 2032 ... I am aiming for June 2018 :rolleyes:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Hi Ben Ben,
I always read your thread, I like your style of writing and really am interested in how you are dealing with your finances and life with your son etc. There are lots of strong independent women on this site:D
Any way thought you were off to read a magazine in bed :rotfl: ~ and I was supposed to be ironing half an hour ago:rolleyes:

£2.75 on lunch today and then £11.50 on Halloween and Xmas stuff at the garden centre
I got quite a bit of stuff for that price though so was quite pleased really.
My 2 cardigans arrived from one of the catalogues today, they're actually quite nice and a bargain for 40p each :T :T
Ds is going to his Dads after all this weekend, he's promised me he'll keep him in and resting ... don't believe him but never mind  Anyway, I'm gonna spend the weekend getting up-to-date with xmas stuff, doing some ebay, generally gutting the flat again ... :rolleyes:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
