So, another significant amount of progress done in benben land :j
I didn't make a list today because I thought I would get nothing done and it would be disheartening, but actually I have done loads, so I feel like writing a list in retrospect just so I can update it and feel virtuous!!!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Aaaaah bb you are sooo organised! i must write more lists - I see yours and think i must do that but I forget hhahaha.
Mind you I have done loads this weekend - ironed, listed on ebay, wrapped and sent parcels, chucked more junk in my skip, packed more boxes to move! Arghhh...oh and we baked some fairy cakes!
I bought a pair of shoes in town yesterday that i've been hankering after foir a while, in Oasis and they were £45, but I'm not happy so they'll go back!!
And I had to spend £230 on a new fridge/freezer as the new house I'm going to doesnt have room for oor tall freezer so leaving it in the house when I sell and had to buy the new one. So poor bank balance taken a big drop-just as it was looking healthy!!
Anyway, off I go to tidy up ready for another week of school....:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Well I thought about asking, but it's 11 years old, so didn't really know if it was cheeky! To be honest i'm glad to get rid of it - can't cope with having to dispose of it!! Mind you I've given them my cooker too as its 10yrs old and couldn't face getting it disconnected and dumped! So they have done OK out of me.
I'm liking the new thrifty me - a few weeks ago I'd have thought nothing of buying the shoes, along with some clothes in Next and a fortune in Tesco! This week I spent £55 in Tesco, but hadn't been for alomost 2 weeks and not going for another 2, so that's ok.
Even been checking my bank online every day (not once every other month!) - I actually feel better knowing how much I 'haven't' got in there as opposed to guessing and just praying my card was never declined! Ridiculous now to look back.
I think it's part of my moving on (separated from hub last yr) and selling the house, I finally feel in control of my life - last yr was out of my hands it felt!
The new me this is and its great!!:beer:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hi benben - looks like great progress over the weekend - well done. Did you ever get an explanation from the post office re. the delay in delivery? it is very annoying to pay for a particular service and then not get it .0

Milly ... well done on your progress, it gradually becomes an obsession so watch out
