No extra money made today, but I have just booked a mystery shop for early next month which will be worth about €12
I also sorted out the MyLotto account, as they haven't processed my withdrawal ... they were waiting for proof of my age  anyway, all done now, so that €15 should be on its way soon.
Also, when I sorted my accounts out last night I've got €15 more than expected in one account, so thats been moved over you-know-where
I was telling some people at work today about the Butlins trip and everyone who has been seems very positive about the place, so I'm starting to feel excited alreadyMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

You are doing so well - and good to have the holiday to look forward to. Hope the PO cough up. Typical that you can't do the things you want to online! :rolleyes:0

Aah bb lucky you off to Butlin's! I really need a holiday this year, after the year I've had, but I'm loathe to spend much, and holidays in this country seem to cost a fortune! I priced Butlin's at Minehead but seemed alot for 3.
I will have the money from the sale of the house soon, but that's not that much and that's all I'll have in the world - no house to show for it!!!Going to use that to pay off cc (4k) and was going to buy a car of about £2k but money-saving me doesn't know whether to stick with my p-reg Corsa instead!! Just can't see me having the cash to but a car again tho so think i should do it now...
Oh I seem to be rambling again.....must go and write a list like you all seem to do so well!
Bye for now...:rolleyes:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
PS Mystery shopping...I registered with a few of the websites I saw on here, but do you have to go to them for the shopping opportunities? I thought they might appear in my inbox but I think I'm wrong hehehee. Been busy doing surveys and loving Quidco - I'm on £105 in a few weeks, fab!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0

A few of the mystery shopping companies email you, but by the time you see it someone else will have grabbed it
so its worth checking regularly
I know what you mean about the car, I'd love a Peugeot 206 cc, a little convertible car, but it would be no good with a kiddies car seat in the back and theres nothing wrong with my car, its just one of those wants   but then my practical mse head takes over :rotfl:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Aaah yes a Peugot 206 is my 1st choice! Not convertible though, I'm not too picky! Blue or silver....;)
Might have to rethink though...!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hi benben!! I booked 7 mystery shops for this week!! All on the phone so easy peasy lemon squeezy!! £49 to come to me eventually!! :j I have set myself a target of £250 by the end of the year from mystery shops, and surveys, which I think is quite a reasonable target (but I was being a wimp when I set it!!!)Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hi Tigz, sorry, been at the park after school, then have spent the last hour googling sperm donor clinics
This is something I've been thinking about for a while ... still not too sure how I feel about it ... but all I do know is I never wanted ds to be an only child, I desperately want more than one child, ex has screwed my head up soooo much I don't think I'd ever trust anyone else enough and tbh, I've never felt half as much for anyone as I did for my ex and 3 years down the line that hasn't changedSo, do I keep waiting for Mr Right, who is unlikely to come along, or do I do something about it before its too late?? I hate the thought of eternally regretting not doing it   ... but then is it fair on a child to never know its father??
Hmm, anyway, back to the money stuff .... haven't made any extra today ... yeaterday was a nsd, today I spent €4 on bread, milk and stuff for ds packed lunch tomorrow as he's going on a school tripMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Well, there's something you don't read every day
"googling sperm banks"..............
I have no problem, personally, with anyone doing this......my concern (throw it away if you want!) is that now you have "more" detail about the donor, they have rights, the child has rights, and it could actually get more complicated than if you were "simply" in a relationship that didn't last, if you see what I mean.....
For example, a person who donates sperm, presumably doesn't want the rights of a father, but does the law now automatically award the child the right to find their father? Or for the father to find their child in due course, and would that be something you (or they) could cope with?
Blimey, I don't envy you making any sort of decision, but I would applaud you for being a mother again - you are making a fab job of it so far and so any child who comes into this world with you by their side is going to be one lucky babba!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
