I'm hoping it continues too Hypno
Its just been a great couple of days money-wise, not sure where the next bit is coming from, but then I wasn't expecting half of what I've got recently either
I'm very pleased with how my June €10 challenge is going  , no idea where the rest o it is coming from but I think I'm doing the best I've ever done in this challenge
I had a quick look around for holidays and was thinking of booking 3 or 4 days at Butlins in Minehead, but then when I googled reviews of there it seemed really divided; either people thought it was great or they thought it was like a warzone / health hazard   ... pretty much a 50/50 split too, so that has now put me offI thought it would be nice though with all the ids entertainment and the indoor swimming pools   ... hmmm, will have another search later in the week

Ah thanks Molly
I've been looking at butlins in Minehead:o
, just for 3 nights, but the reviews i've read are either great or shocking, no middle ground  ... for 3 nights in August it would be about €200, but I can use my clubcard deals but it does say you can't use them with any other offer, and the price quoted on the website is with some "special deal" or other that they're doing, probably doing all the time though
I think it would be nice for ds for a few days and we could concentrate on his swimming and there is also the kids entertainment :rolleyes:I'm slightly concerned how it would be as a single parent though, but I'll have that wherever we go  I think it might be better to go for 3/4 days and cram loads in rather than go somewhere for a week and get a bit bored

BenBen
Many thanks for the bus i received it today with regards to butlins in minehead i have been on numerous occasions for the day and also longer breaks, my friend who is married goes there all the time on mid week breaks mon - fri with her 2 small children under 5 (she goes on her own whilst hubbie is working and she loves it there is so much to do and everything is there - there dont seem to be a problem with single parents it would seem that lots of people go on their own - the accommodation though varies depending on what graded accommodation you go for the last time i went we were in basic accom but the price was cheap and you dont spend much time there anyway but i know having spoken to my friend her accommodation is always nice, she went last week for half term, minehead is quite a nice place it has a lovely sandy beach and nice town and shops, and also a steam railway that you can go on.
dont be put off by it cause i know lots of people including myself who have been it is about the nicest seaside place nearest to where i live bristol.2010 - Goals
