Hope the ebay takes off for you, I find it does help to have a purpose for the money; makes you more motivated to get it listed in the first place

Sold a buy-it-now item for £2.50 last night :beer: its a small amount but its better than nothing and the item was gonna go in the bin otherwise

I was a bit naughty and did some shopping on tesco direct earlier ... it was all sale items, and its not as bad as it sounds ... I got 3 x Thomas VSmile games (just under £6 each), a wire basket thing for the bathroom reduced from £8 to £2, a chocolate coloured supersoft double throw £16 reduced to £4 and a kingsize antibacterial duvet £20 reduced to £4. I will keep 1 of the Thomas games for ds birthday, the others will go on ebay. I also got a £5 off voucher which meant the total came to £23 and I should hopefully get £15 back from ebay sales , meaning a vsmile game, a new duvet, a throw and a wire basket thingy should cost me about £8 in total :j :j oh, and also got £1.58 through quidco !!

We've been down the beach this morning but the rain has come back again, so ds is doing some painting while I get some more bits on ebay :rolleyes:

Thankyou Sea, its yet another challenge :rolleyes: I am aiming to save £1000 by christmas through ebay / car boots sales ... I've no idea what I'm going to do with the money or whether I'll get anywhere near that figure, but at the moment everything in my flat is running for its life ... if I spot it it risks ending up on ebay

Right, as part of my ebay strategy I am going to go back to entering competitions to hopefully win some prizes that I could sell I did start entering some last year but didn't stick at it for long :rolleyes: I did win a few bits though (£50 of hair products, a load of Uncle Bens rice and cook-in sauces and 8 london cinema tickets ).

I am only using the competition thread on here, the guys there are so helpful, and each day they make a list of all the competitions closing that day, so you can just click on and enter them. I will keep you all updated of any possible wins of course, but I have added it to my signature too They are doing a challenge over there called £2008 in 2008, and basically you have to win £2008 worth of prizes this year .... I'd love to but I reckon that will be a bit hard going for a starter :rolleyes: ... we'll see
