Completely dead arm waiting for a docs call0

Back to the hospital if it doesn't clear up over the weekend
Wanted me to now but OH won't cope with a hospital right now0 -
Go back sooner or to the out of hours service if you need to - don't want to risk permanent damage. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Melly, that sounds scary.
If the drs think you should go now, then maybe you should, you don't want to risk things getting worse. I know you're thinking of your OH, but sometimes you've just got to put yourself first. X x

Longest it was dead for was 4 weeks once doc didn't like the 2 weeks intermittent use thing.
All that happens is they check if I have any feeling in it and give me oxygen it's not a stroke which is what their worried about0 -
Glad to hear it's not anything really serious Melly. All the same, rest up and take care x x
I'm in a really grumpy mood today. PMT coupled with the start of a cold isn't helping either. Started off abit teary this morning anyhow, then my Mam asked if I wanted to go for a coffee and I didn't, so she went in a mood and told me that things were harder for her than for me! I acknowledge that for some things it is, but the same could be said for me. I told her it wasn't a competition, as that was what she was making it feel like.
Then we bumped into someone in Tesco who asked after my Dad (of course it's going to happen), and because we were both having abit of a bad day, it set us both off again. Then my Mam's neighbour (over the road) came over to say she'd just heard about my Dad! Cue more tears.Neighbourhoods aren't what they used to be anymore are they?
All in all, the day started off sh*tty and got even sh*ttier! Like I say, PMT and fluey symptoms aren't helping.
D (DH) is doing my head in on the xbox (it's annoying me more and more every day), any ideas where I can shove it? I'm currently thinking where the sun doesn't shine at the moment!
ETA: Hope everyone else is doing ok? It's very quiet on here tonight.0 -

Saw this and it reminded me of your lovely police officers, WaS (article re police having mental health awareness training.)

Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

*big hugs* for melly and georgiegirl, and anyone else who wants or needs them
I;m ok, bar the fact my doctors decided to withold my prescription and didn;t bother to tell me, so when i went to pick it up from the pharmacy (as the online system told me to) it wasn't there, had 20 mins before i started work and no way of getting to the surgery so boots kindly (agter ringing the doctors again) gave me an emergency supply to get me through the bank holiday. Apparently i'm due a meds review (again, nobody told me), so now i have to flap around trying to find an appointment to fit around work. Bleh i just don't see the point of seeing my doctor, the meds pretty much work as they should and i'm fine, and they won't give me any extra sodding help anyway so i just deal with it on my own, as i have had to do for the last year or so.This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
