Phew - just heard back from new company (was getting a bit worried they'd changed their mind!) Had email from HR person to say thanks for copies of certificates, sorry for delay in replying (!) and that they'll send me info next week about my first day.

Oh good heavens this is actually happening!:eek:

Onwards and upwards now tea! :j

    What's a lavender tart, then?.

You know oil burners that you can put oils in? Well you can buy tarts (I think they're also called melts?) and put them in the top of the burner, light a tea light underneath and the tart melts and makes your room smell all lovely! :)

So it's the same as putting drops of oil in the water bowl over the tea light! Or don't they need water?

They don't need water, you just unwrap them and pop them in!

I love my lavender sleep spray!

My lavender plants eventually came. I expected them to be large enough to put straight into the pots I've just bought for the front garden....but oh no, they are teeny tiny! I'll have to grow them abit first. I knocked on my gardening mad neighbours house for a tray to re-pot them in, and then later on he took pity on me faffing about, and he did it for me!

Sorry to hear that melly. :( I hope you're feeling better and able to sleep better soon. All this stress with the housing association can't be helping. :(

  • Melly I know the doctors said for me colouring and video games to help the side effects of them with my hands. They help me regain and retain fine motor skills. Some cheap colours and a colouring book from the pound store and your sorted lol.

Right in the doctor saga, apparently I'm some kind of registered patient. No one said what type lol. And the doctor rang my mum and was an arrogant B. Mum came off the phone in tears. Is it bad I want to strangle him?
