    A quick update.....

£2.10 spent on Sunday and £12.74 yesterday so that's £14.84/£300 spent of the food budget. Was pleased with my purchases both days because I went out to get a hair dye (instead of getting my hairdresser to do it) and ended up finding a reduced one for 77p! Then yesterday my daughter found a chocolate egg in a mug in the supermarket, which she insisted on having... we got it for £1 because it wouldn't scan, so they put through as a small chocolate buttons egg:D

My sons school was closed because of the snow, so spent the day at home, and input all of my budget into an app I have had for ages on my iPad and not used... also sent a letter off to the tax office to claim for laundering my husbands work uniform.

    Also, SFD 1/15 :j

  • Congratulations Debtdrowning! And well done to all others achievements gaining £ and losing lbs :)
Not a NSD - haircut for DD (£10 - from friend) and voucher for DD's mates bday (£10). Forgot the toothpaste..we have enough for a few days but I'll pick some up if I end up having to venture out there!
A currently trying a fix it - my printer keeps saying cartridge error. Have been through e-how and the online guide, cleaned the coppers off with a bit of alcohol (gin:o) and am currently doing the 15 minutes unplugged. If all that fails I'm walking over to a mates to do the printing for DD's homework!! W
Went for free running course today at work - was shattered just by 2 min on 2 min off. Been a year of vegetating - look forward to feeling a bit stronger for all this now. Cooked up lovely stir fry with LOTS of veggies and some old (very old!) dried noodles. Lovely to have something different. Was proud that from my last batch of MSE days I had some fresh ginger chopped in the freezer to make it a bit more special! Got plenty for my lunch or dinner 2mrw too :)
Right, off to see if the gin has worked its magic! Night all :)

Drowningdebt woo hoo so pleased for you. Well done having a glass of wine to celebrate your success.

Pippy1971 hair dye 77p. Reveal all. I need some dark brown lol

Feel a failure on exercise/diet front today. Have a limited time to walk doggy after work and collect grandson. My feet do not cope with cold, have proper walking boots and still couldn't feel them today. Not venturing out again I just hate cold feet.

Grateful for scales in the doctors weighing me 8lb less. If they are right?
Got good balance transfer deal offered with 2% fee.
    Yummy playtime with grandson
