  • Sorry. I should have explained I'm using my iPad to post. I can't back up my iphone and ipad to an ipad. I back up using a desktop and save my photos and burn my photos on a desktop. I don't want a laptop.
I can't use Citrix on my iPad.
I don't know that nifty is saying that I can be satisfied with the one 3 posts ago. I think he's saying its a bit limited.
PC's will always be a bit limited if your needs change, but for what you wanted they would have been adequate, you really to either define your current needs and go for good (or at least subjective) advice, or add 50% to your budget for the just in case scenario. Not trying to be negative, but in truth no one will get future proofing based on their current needs.

Unless anyone has any other suggestions I'm going to buy the one that jaydeeuk1 suggested at £229. I'll order it on Thursday so can take any further suggestion into consideration before then if you have any. Cheers.

My five year old Toshiba laptop with a Celeron T1600 processor is a bit limited, but I'm still using it, as it still does everything I need it to do.

The Lenovo is fine for £150, especially with the ability to install alternative OS. The Caiman is good value for £230 with it's processor and two year warranty.
    The choice...is yours.
