If u don't want to spend that much. I suggest u go for Intel g3250 instead.

Micro ATX case with motherboard with socket with LGA1150 will allow u to have plenty of upgrade option in future.
By the way, u are replacing existing desktop, why do u need another keyboard and mouse?
New set of keyboard and mouse would only cost u another 150 -

And laptop CPU is slower than desktop. Harder to upgrade and repair0 -

Ok I can use my existing keyboard and mouse but wasn't sure I would be able to. Yes I need dvd or cd.

Thanks but I think then adding £199 for 8.1 isn't quite what I think is worth it for a new desktop which I don't really use as much as my iPad. Thanks tho.0 -
umm , a quick look on ebay shows about £50
or you could download the iso from Microsoft , and "patch" it0 -
Any other suggestions to put in the pot as seems the Lenovo is winning at the mo. I could google but not sure what I'm searching for so as to get some results to compare so do need help from all of you on here who know more than me about the specs. TIA.0
