What desktop computer to buy for my needs?

My go to techie guy says he has a new computer available for £160 as mine has just died on Tuesday. Mine was a dell e521 and motherboard & possibly processor is busted. See other post where you all helped.
.
He has a 2gb ram, 320gb hard drive, celeron 1037u processor, dvd writer, dual core brand new computer for £160. Have decided against getting a new mother board and processor for my dell as it was 8 yrs old and had a few problem
I don't really use a computer all the time or for much variety so don't feel I need an all singing all dancing pc and don't have much of a budget really.
Must be a desktop tho not a laptop. Needs cd or dvd rewriter to save photos.
I only use - Citrix access gateway as most important, Itunes to back up my iPhone and iPad, save photos, burn phots, Internet surfing occasionally but rarely as I use my iPad mostly and email
Would like a decent fast processor eg a pentium rather than a celeron.
Thanks.

Not too bad if it is brand new - does this include Windows too?
Not latest spec to be brand new though - can get same or better spec used for half that on ebay.0 -

I got this Windows 7 machine recently http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370916356683?clk_rvr_id=772081822789&rmvSB=true for £88.00 and added another 2Gb of RAM for £16 from Crucial. Has proved to be a very good bargain.0

I wasn't clear in my op sorry but I need a desktop not a laptop. Thanks anyway though.0 -

Ok thanks. I need a desktop. Would you know what's suitable for me as per my op? And lower than £160? Thanks so much.0 -

The Lenovo is the first in the list..at £150. I'm not necessarily recommending it. Just illustrating what is available new at that price point with a full warranty.
New means nothing if it doesn't have a full warranty.0 -
If forced to choose, I would certainly take the Lenovo over the model in the first post. It's definitely the better choice.0

That looks good. Trouble with me being in a hurry is not taking enough time to make sure it comes with things like warranty and widows etc.
I think I'll go for the Lenovo then unless any other suggestions. Do you think it meets my needs as outlined in my Op? I could order it today.0 -
I don't use Windows 8.1, but I expect so. Easy enough to swap to Windows 7 on that machine if there are problems.0

Some of the reviews say it's a bit slow. What do you think?0
